Before moving to New York in 1923, Curt Eschenbach studied at the Heberlein workshop in Markneukirchen. Upon moving to New York, Eschenbach found work as the head of the repair department for Carl Fischer which in turn offered Eschenbach's instruments for sale.

A meticulously well cared for violin nearing 100 years, this example of Eschenbach's work during the golden period of German violinmaking is one you will want to get under your fingers. A clear and crisp tone, while still offering an interesting body of texture, this instrument would be equally suited for the solo performer or a chamber musician looking for their next partner.
